15 Walcot Buildings forms part of a Grade II Georgian dwellings with shops to the ground floor, situated within the Bath conservation area and World Heritage site. It is positioned along London Road which acts as the arterial route into Bath city centre, and features a high concentration of Grade II mid- to late Georgian dwellings with some early Victorian additions and alterations.

The Trust has no comments on the proposed change of use. However, we would emphasise that despite the application stating no proposed material changes, any internal or external changes to the fabric or appearance of the building that arise from this change of use will require the submission of a relevant LBA to assess the impact to a Grade II listed building.
