We would expect the LPA request that the applicant submits a statement in support of their application which gives the details of the volume of the proposed extension, given that it is an extension to a dwelling the Green Belt.
We are aware of the planning history and BPT objected to the earlier applications for the conversion of the Barn and we regret that the development of a new house was allowed in the Green Belt rather than conversion of an existing building. Under PD the site has been allowed to expand, and the new gym is right on the boundary rather than 2m from it. We also query the distance between the PD structures. If this extension is permitted then the PD buildings could be too close for deemed consent.
