Internal and external alterations for the repair and restore the remaining 8 stained glass windows, situated at the rear of the ground floor main auditorium in Bath Elim Church.
Our Response BPT is supportive of the principle of the proposed window repairs to a Grade II* building. It is indicated that these windows are already in a deleterious condition which is progressively worsening, and we therefore recognise the urgent need for repair/stabilisation works to start as soon as possible to minimise further deterioration or irreversible damage. We encourage works to retain and reuse as much of the historic glazing as is feasible, and are supportive of the proposed recording works ahead of disassembly for repairs.
