External alterations for repairs as described in application form.
Our Response Where it is proposed to repair a collapsed section of lathe and plaster within the ground floor colonnade, it is indicated that this would be replastered “using sand/cement and lime mixture 3 coats”. It is unclear as to why a cement/lime mix would be used, and we instead recommend a more traditional lime mix where this would be more materially sympathetic to a Grade I listed building.
