External alterations for the replacement of broken door entry panel.
Our Response We strongly recommend that the existing fixing points are reused where possible to minimise the need for further drill holes and associated, irreversible loss of historic stonework. Where it is indicated that the replacement panel would use a powder-coated, non-shiny finish, this is preferable to ensure that the entry panel remains a recessive addition to the façade of a Grade II* listed building.
