Display of 1no non-illuminated fascia sign and display of non-illuminated mural and shop signage (regularisation) (resubmission).
Our Response We acknowledge the changes that the applicant has made to this signage as a result of feedback and this scheme is certainly going in the right direction. We have a continued concern regarding the colours, it looks from the images that the shop front is to be white but the annotation mentions that the shop front is black gloss. The use of shiny gold lettering on either white or black gloss would not be appropriate as it would be quite strident. The shop front colour should be matt, as should the signwriting. We cannot envisage the transparent glazing with gold mural overlay on the right hand window, and question whether it, combined with all the signage on the windows, will result in a cluttered low quality appearance.
