Proposal
Installation of six additional velux roof windows for two existing loft bedrooms and bathrooms.
Our Response Where the addition of three new rooflights along the north-east roof slope would be visible as part of the Prospect Road streetscape, it is recommended in the interest of preserving and enhancing the character and appearance of the conservation area, and setting of multiple heritage assets, that new rooflights could be of a matching size and finish to those existing to maintain a more cohesive appearance. Where possible, a symmetrical placement in which the new and existing windows align with one another is preferable.
