Display of 3no non-illuminated perpendicular hanging timber signs to replace existing signage to street elevation.

Our Response

90C Walcot Street is a Grade II Georgian house, now restaurant, situated within the ‘artisan quarter’ of the Bath conservation area and World Heritage site.

BPT supports the proposed installation of three hanging signs that will utilise the existing wrought iron brackets on the front of the building. The reinstatement of a consistent sign design across the front of the building will improve and de-fragment the appearance of the listed building’s façade. We support the proposed use of hand-painted timber signs, utilising a suitably neutral colour palette in heritage-approved paint.
