Repair and localised strengthening of retaining masonry wall, elevated pavement and associated railings fronting The Vineyards on the west side of the A4 extending from the Junction of Lansdown Road with George Street to the junction of Guinea Lane with The Paragon.

Our Response

Subject to detailed case officer review, the Trust welcomes and supports these works to repair and strengthen the walls and railing structures of the Vineyards, we confirm that the there are no vaults relating to the Countess of Huntingdon’s Chapel and that our land ownership stops at the boundary of the Chapel gates/railings. We commend the level of detail and assessment contained in the report submitted with the application.
