Our Response Given the distinct early 20th century bungalow character of Wetherley Avenue we are concerned the timber cladding proposed for nearly all this new dwelling would fail to maintain or enhance local character. Bath stone ashlar would be a more appropriate material for the street facing elevation that would harmonise with the local palette. Timber cladding could provide some interest to the rear elevation of the dwelling.
