External alterations to include renewal of slate covering of pitched roof over 12A (South Elevation) and repairs and renewal of roof covering of inverted pitched roof to 12 (North Elevation, overlooking lightwell).

Our Response

12 Old Bond Street forms part of a pair of Grade II Georgian end terrace houses with shops, situated in the core of the Bath conservation area and World Heritage site.

BPT appreciates the renovation of the existing roofs for the ensured longevity and material health of the building in matching, natural materials; we would encourage that any of the existing slates or clay pantiles found to be in an appropriate condition are salvaged and reused as part of the proposal.
