External work to roof including replacement lead guttering and current man-made slates with natural slate.
Our Response The Trust would like to support this application on the basis that the applicant wishes to remove the existing manmade slates with natural slate. We support the reintroduction of natural traditional materials on Bath buildings whenever possible, as it helps to sustain and preserve the special architectural interest of the listed building and the character and appearance of the conservation area.
