The following role is being recruited for a partnership project:
Website Developer – Bath and Colonialism Archive Project
Bath Preservation Trust is working in partnership with Bath Abbey and Bath Record Office on a six month research project aiming to share information on Bath’s links with the transatlantic slave trade and the history of a black presence in the city, funded through the National Archives Testbed Fund.
Research has been conducted to summarise articles from the Bath Chronicle which contain search terms and place names relating to the transatlantic slave trade. The project is now seeking a Website Developer to create a website for the project that includes an on-line searchable database to make the results of this research accessible.
