East of Bath link roads

February 9, 2018adminTransport

The Valley Parishes Alliance, representing parishes in the World Heritage Site Setting East of Bath, has recently issued a submission to the Transport Secretary concerning the possible proposals for link roads East of Bath. The BPT’s position over the years has been consistent with the VPA’s approach which, while opposing a link road immediately East of Bath on grounds that there evidence that it will not solve Bath’s traffic problems and that it would cause unacceptable environmental damage, actively supports the enhancement of the A350 for  long distance North-South traffic.
