Great to hear from Dr Amy Frost @BathPresTrust about the process of transformation at @No1Museum. Top tip for change - be brave; marmite beats mediocrity!

“The greener the setting, the more the relief.”

– Richard Louv

Nature can be beneficial for mental health. Research shows that even a glimpse of nature from a window can have restorative effects on mental health.

It reduces cognitive fatigue and stress and can be helpful with depression and anxiety.

In Bath this means residents don’t have to head for the woods. The effects of nature can be experienced anywhere in the City which is surrounded by green landscape.

And by appreciating it, we can reap the benefits of feeling happier and healthier as a result.

For more information about access to Bath’s landscape, group activities and well-being walks visit the @bathscapelp website. BPT’s @beckfordstower cemetery is free to access as a place for quiet contemplation, and is a gateway to nature.

For mental health advice the lovely people at @bath.mind are 100% there for anyone in need of support.

The image pictured is the view from Kelston Roundhill towards Weston in Bath. Accessed from the City via the Cotswold Way.
