Volunteer Open Days 17 & 20 Jan

Pop in to find out how you could get involved.  Are you looking to meet people, learn new skills or share your knowledge?  Whether you can give us a regular day or half day each week, provide occasional cover or would prefer to drop in and help for the odd hour or two, we’ll have a role to suit you.

Bath Preservation Trust Museums are opening their doors on Wednesday 17 and Saturday 20 January; please just drop in any time from 11am until 2pm.  Come along to the Museum of Bath Architecture, No. 1 Royal Crescent or the Herschel Museum of Astronomy to meet our staff and volunteers and find out about the roles we have available.

Our Conservation Team will be at No. 1 Royal Crescent on the Wednesday (17th) to answer any questions you have if you are wanting to help in our heritage watchdog/preservation work.

We can talk about the time commitment you are looking to make and the role you would like to do and you can ask any questions about what we have available.  Whether you like the idea of talking to visitors, delving into our archives, supporting events and children’s activities or being behind the scenes helping in the office, we will be able to find a place for you in our friendly team.

At the end of your visit, if you are interested in getting involved, we will provide you with an application form and a person to keep in contact with.  Our friendly teams of staff and volunteers are looking forward to welcoming you.

If you are interested in volunteering with us but cannot make either of our drop in open days, please contact us to find out about our next session or to receive an application form by calling 01225 428126 or emailing no1museum@bptrust.org.uk

“Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.  Whether they provide great visitor experiences or are involved in other activities, they are hugely appreciated and a great team to work alongside.
